Mission and Philosophy

Our Mission 

To provide exemplary early education and care for young children, we create and sustain a nurturing and respectful community dedicated to supporting the growth and development of each child. Our program encourages reasoning, respect, and responsibility for children of all ages.

We support students, families, and staff by building responsive relationships in school and home and by providing targeted strategies that foster healthy social-emotional growth. Our staff incorporates Pyramid Model practices when interacting with students and families.

We believe the goal of Early Childhood Education is to help children develop the skills and dispositions necessary to become successful, lifelong learners. Our classrooms are designed to invite play, as we believe that children at play are meaningfully engaged in essential social, emotional, and cognitive development. Children learn best through active exploration, experience, interaction, and modeling.

Our program provides an environment filled with opportunities for children to explore the world and build upon their previous experiences. Our teachers understand that play is the work of children, and they maintain structure through routine, predictability, and consistency.
